Aftershock 1

"I see someone got up late." the voice coming through the speaker located on the chest of the remote controlled cyber enhanced body of a long dead alien invader.

"Shut up fat boy."  Kira says with a smile. "I know you're enjoying the view."  Of course she woke up late.  She spent half the night drinking and....well she'd rather not think about what happened after and it was lucky she even found her pants.  The weather was hot and this was a standard patrol, so going out in her bra, wasn't a new thing for her (although the last few times it had been bets she had lost), so she really didn't care what anyone thought, as long as she was on time.

"Yes, I am."  the voice of John Parker, who was safely nestled at the  top of the structure immersed in the remote pod.  He was short and fat and didn't have a chance at Kira but right now he hoped that no one was actually looking inside his pod, because although his vision was now the cyborg's point of view, he could feel his erection pushing against his pants.  This was one of six cyborgs they had and John was the best 'pilot' but the things lacked fine motor control and on scavenger missions the human presence was definitely needed. 

   Android 5672, remained quiet.  They would acknowledge her eventually, she thought, or maybe they wouldn't.  Kira was known for her hate of artificial life, and justified since she watched her parents die at the hands of a rogue android at the beginning of the "Robot Wars" as they had been dubbed.  She was admant against working with any when the aliens invaded the planet, but  now with the Galatian World Government overthrown, she didn't really have a choice in the matter.  The rebellion depended on both human and androids alike to scavenge for parts, weapons, food...anything useful to keep them alive and to keep them fighting.

   As the door opened up the sun shone in, and a voice coming through the PA system sounded 'All Clear'.  Kira looked back at the duo and smiled "Let's go."
