Darkworld pt 11

Outside the Mora residence

"Don't I know you?"  Frank says smiling at Alexander

"You do look familiar" Alex says scratching his head trying to place the face.

"You know the Xien? Mora?" 

"Well yes and no.  How do you know her?"

"Well..."

"She was part of your coven."

"How'd you do that?  Can you read my mind?"

"No, I'm a precog, I can see bits and pieces of possible futures, and that part just flashed to me."

"So do you're from the house of Psi?"

"Was"

"Excuse me?"

"I quit a few years back.  I got caught up in...well I just stopped going."

"So you don't know do you?"

"Know what?"  Alexander asks

"The Great House, the Unforgiven..., the massacre."

"I knew something was wrong, I was yanked to Darkworld a few days back but not to the Great House and was being pursued by the Unforgiven.  The name 'Xien Mora' came to me when I got back to the real world."

Frank looks down "Well, she's not here."

"Yeah, just her daughter."

"The future?"

"No I knocked prior to you crossing the street.  She went somewhere and isn't expected until night."  Alex stops "Wait how do you know her?"

"She and I are part of the Coven of Feri and I need to speak with her."

"The sexcraft?"  Alex says almost smiling

"It's a little more than that, but yes, basically. "  Frank reaches down in his pocket and grabs a card "Look I'm trying to find out what happened.  I know Zoey and I'm going to wait with her until Xien comes back, but give me a call tomorrow.  I know most of my coven is now dead, the same with all the Houses and Covens that were in the Great House.  We need to find out what happened and see what we can do."

"Exactly. I have a few more stops to make, but it would be a great help...."

"Seeing something"  Franks says

"Not sure" Alex says as he tries to decipher an image of Frank confronting one of the Unforgiven "Look..."

"Frank.  And you are?"

"Alex.  Alex Williams.  I'll call you tomorrow and maybe we can all meet up somewhere."

"Sounds good to me."  Frank shakes Alex's hand firmly "Now I'll go check on Zoey."

"Cool.  See you tomorrow Frank."

Frank waves at Alex and starts up the stairs, as soon as Alex is out of eyesight he smiles something sinister.
