I have several stories that branch off of the concept posted here: [link] but time is always an issue, so I'm just going to do one lateral story using the Aiko model (my fave) and here is the first one I'm consdering.
Her name is Marissa Deveaux and all her life she's been told she can and can't do.
She can't join the Black Guard because she's a female.
She can't go off on her own to fight these bizarre mutations because she'll get hurt.
She should find a nice man and settle down because she's such a pretty girl.
2030 France and Marissa thinks everything she's been told about what she can, should and can't do is a bunch of bull.
