The Chemical X that had given the girls powers wasn't stable and at the age of 12, the girls lost their amazing abilities. The Proffessor searched for a cure but found out their DNA had finally adjusted to the Chemical X and they were human...forever or so it seemed.

Two years later the Professor is missing and while searching for clues the girls find out that the Professor always knew they would lose their abilities. He had known since Blossom developed a unique power from the other girls. Yet they missed their father too much to be angry at him for wanting to sheild them from the truth. After hours of research the girls had a clue to where the Professor was but now a gang of robotic monkeys stood outside their home.

Determined not to go without a fight Buttercup leapt in the crowd and started swinging. The first punch dented the first robot to meet her fist and each punch after became stronger! She had her super strength again!

Bubbles tried to run from the robot monkeys but they were too fast, when one finally caught up to her and grabbed her foot, she felt a powerful wind, before she realized it she was flying!

Blossom was cornered and clenched her fist in anger and drew them up close to her face...that's when she noticed they were on fire but not hurting her.

Five minutes later, the girls stood victorious. Buttercup....super strength and invunerability. Bubbles wind powers and Blossom with her fire balls...sugar, spice and everything nice had been replaced by Earth, Wind and Fire...the new Power Puff Girls!
