"This human...titled KyungLucy, mind activity high."

"I find it perplexing that they 'name' themselves, such a bother over nothing. Individuality is in actions not in names."

"True, but this one is different."

"How so."

"Look here as we stimulate her physically."

"Oh...malfunction in the machine?"

"No. At first I thought it was same issue we had with the other warrior one using her cybernetic implants to create a virtual world, but this...this is different."

"I see, there are three unique brain patterns, three personalities..."

"Yes the one that we are stimulating...and it's running at high for human norms. Engaged completely in stimulating."

"These readings indicate that this one has converted to our ways more than others but..."

"The other two patterns...at first hard to see since they almost overlap the first. And my initial query I believed it was a second subroutine, but pattern deviations indicate three seperate mental process, each working at full capacity."

"Perhaps it would be easier to just exterminate this one."

"No, this one is important to the queen and the value of this data alone..."

"Agreed. So why was I summoned."

"To mate without breeding to see if subject KyungLucy's patterns change again."

"I still find social mating awkward, it serves no purpose other than self."

"True. Yet the queen wants this one unfertilized."

"And the other?"

"Not for us to seed as well."

"Very well...I will do this with KyungLucy. Hmmm perhaps that is the riddle behind two."

"Excuse?"

"Humans identify themselves by name, this one's perception of self is Kyung and is Lucy. Other such humans percieve themselves same 'name' but with different lable. Such as your favorite : Sue. Sue's patterns go from SueSelf, SueDaughter, SueFriend, KyungLucy has two sets of identifiers one for Kyung the other for Lucy."

"Mental illness perhaps?"

"Perhaps. I am ready lower speciman KyungLucy."

"Setting?"

"I find with KyungLucy no setting is required for pleasurable experiance."

"Very well."

The machine shifts to move Lucy into a better position for the Moluvoid and as it does the joy in Lucy's face is quite visible. Yet on the computer monitor indications show that the other two brain patterns diverge from one and show just as much activity...
