It was a year after his death and it took her awhile to decide how best she would honor her husband's memory. Years of working alongside each other had made it all the much harder and there's was a romance that seemed destined to last forever, but Doomsday changed all that.

She looked out over Metropolis and wondered if they would accept her. How could she do what he did..... No that wasn't the problem, not what he did, how he did what he did. Yet as she saw the Robot Menace, she knew it was time to put on the uniform and take off the glasses that had hid her identity from the rest of the world.

Diana Kent was now Superwoman, honoring her fallen husband and at the same time keeping with the mission her mother had given her as Wonder Woman.

In the Universe you know Clark Kent and Lois Lane were married. In this one however, Lois died as a result of Lex Luthor's plan [insert previously unsuccessful yet dangerous to Lois situation that Supes saved her from] to destroy the Man of Steel. Diana was there to pick up the pieces. They were married on Amazon Island. Enter Doomsday and unlike the universe that you know the creature took him too far, he was unable to be revived.
