Almost home, had to hide the nanotech vial to deal with these guys. Although these guys may look alien they're actually not, these are the human/shranx hybrids. True Shranx come in one color, but the hybrids come in variety of colors. These two are what they call hive workers.

When the Shranx mate they can release two types of jelly, one produces a normal Shranx male, intelligent and crafty, the other type produces these things. Damn near mindless, the easiest way to tell the two apart is that the intelligent ones wear clothes...the color just tells you what species the male Shranx mated with. They're almost always born in pairs, consuming the poor mother upon being born and normally eating the other twin, before falling into a deep sleep and growing rapidly over the next few days, before bursting free and going wild. True Shranx, as the intelligent ones are called, emit a pheremone which allows them to control the sub Shranx.

Looking around this place, I can tell these two are newly born and just my luck it must have been a big woman because normally, like I said earlier, one consumes the other before going into it hybernation metamorphisis. Must be my lucky day. I just wish I had my gun and this would be over quickly, but it could arouse the True Shranx who has to be somewhere around ready to pick up his hive brood.

You know I used to hate all the ancient fighting stuff Arianna used to teach me when I was younger, but I gotta admit, days like this it definately comes in handy.
