"So you just gonna walk away?"  Brian says almost laughing "You know you aint.  You want the money, you gotta go through me."

"It's mine."  Victoria says quietly.

"Not until you're 21, until then it's mine and 21 is still two more years away.  So you gonna make nice or what? Victoria?"

"I heard you."

"You know that private university got you thinking you better than everyone else, but you know where this money comes from right?"

"I.."

"Your mom was super powered ho.  She was tough as bricks and you know what she did?"

  Victoria knew what he was going to say but tried to ignore it.

"The bitch ho'ed herself out to those who couldn't do shit with normal humans...a super ho."  Brian starts laughing "But she sure saved up enough to keep you good for life, as long as you get a degree and not before you're 21.  But if you fuck up...the money goes to me."

"I know."

" I'm the only fool who gave a damn about your mother and when that ho lost her powers along with the rest of the freaks, she kept on ho'ing. Well until one angry john cut her throat."

"Shut up."

"What'd you say bitch?"

"Nothing."

"Damn right nothing, now get over here and take care of your step daddy."

Victoria turns around, she hates him but she knows it won't be long.  Plus he's just visiting from New York.  He'll be leaving soon enough....
